I liked this first campaign, I wasn't too sure about the rules at first, but the last 2-3 sessions they really grew on me. We've talked some about a World of Darkness game, but I think it's a better idea to at least first have another Shadowrun game in-between that.
A lot of things we did with our first Shadowrun characters ended up not being what we thought they would be(gevoa's hacking, varg's amazingly under-used melee skills, practical applications for fireballs that blow your own brains out more than your enemy's, etc..) and we learned a few pointers for future characters.(like, 1 initiative pass is to be avoided
)
Same thing happened to some people in D&D, with Maedor for example.
I'd like for us to get the opportunity to put what we learned into action, before jumping into a new ruleset and starting from the "bumbling about" phase again ^^

I second that. Even though Gevoa was the second char I designed it didn't end up being like imagined (expect for the plot and epic Edge!). Also shadowrun is an interesting setting and we didn't quite get enough of it
