Because that's my sleep pattern at the moment.
I go to sleep somewhere between 2 and 4 and get up between 10 and 12.
Occasionally 13 if I oversleep.(like today)
I just like staying up late, and I don't feel like I'm missing anything in the morning, since all plans me and my friends make are in the afternoon anyway
Also, even though I've anwsered to the spirit of your post now, if I have to take it literally: I -was- in bed, watching Gundam Wing on my laptop, and then just doing one last check up before sleep ^^
Same sleep pattern I had so many years ago, getting back to it is actually easier than I expected, I went to bed at 8 this morning and just got up.

When university kicks off, I'll probably go down to a more moderated pattern again of sleeping between 11:30 and 00:30 and getting up around 8.
I also have a job at Cirque du Soleil which starts the end of this month, but I doubt it'll have an effect since it's generally later on in the day.
You're going to be working at a circus? xd An acrobat perhaps?
