Holy shite, its true! North Korea have threatened USA and South Korea that they'd be ready to unleash hell(hell as in, atomic bombs boom boom) upon them anytime it should be. Its a follow up on the fleet maneuver which USA and South Korea have been doing in the Japanese sea. What do you think of it?
It's earlier than I anticipated and I THOUGHT it would be Iran threatening Israel first.
But I think it's an inevitability when you look at everything.
Humanity repeatedly failed to learn from past mistakes, they always need to feel the consequences first before they learn to just make sure it can't happen, instead of just assuming it won't happen because 'we are civilised' or whatever.
In that respect, humanity is still in its infancy and fully expect a nuclear within a decade.
IF you're a doomsday believer I'd actually find it plausable if it happened 2012 and wouldn't blindly disagree with the possibility, but I don't think it's destined. Rather it's a rational conclusion by observering the past.
History repeats, except that it seems repeat with increasing consequences. And perhaps some crazy people (ahmadinidjad supposedly claimes he believes he's the doomsday bringer mentioned in the Koran or something) who simply WANT the 'prophecies' to become real.
But anyway, I'm not surprised or shocked with this news about nuclear threats. The only surprise to me is that it's NK who's setting the stage for it.
Sure glad I don't live there now. However, the article claims these threats are common.
Not like anyone will target innocent little Finland anyway.

From North Korea? Yes, they are.
Threats like this come approximately every time North Korea needs more money, with the exception for when China says "you're a little much, right now, NK"
North Korea is a big ol' jerk!
Why can't they just be friends with the world? They don't need to hate every living thing on it. Gooosh!
Edit: And you'll never guess who lives right on the east coast, a few hours from the Capitol.
Even though if it were to come true, North Korea would probably hit the west, since it's waaaaay closer to them.
Edit: This although will be a great way to show off the U.S.'s new land/ship based anti-missile laser system. Beware world, the U.S. has lasers!
